I hope that you all had a blessed Easter weekend! I feel like I have lost my mojo, my knee really messed me up again. I have realised that I cannot use my knee as an excuse every time though. Going for physio again tomorrow, sure that it will be a good session.
I must say that I am feeling a bit overwhelmed lately with everything that I am expecting of myself. We are moving at the end of May, so have to pack for the next couple of months. Then I want to stay healthy and fit which takes time out of my day, have to spend time with my family and most important of all, I have to spend time with God. I know that I cannot do this without His help. I still haven't set up my visual goal board, I have decided to make an hourly (at least for the morning before work and eve after work) timetable as this is the best way for me to stick to something. I hope that you guys are still in the groove and going strong. My next race is the 18th of May which I will do! I pray and have faith that I will be able to start running again next week. The cycling is just not doing it for me anymore, I have fallen in love with jogging/running and the way that it makes me feel. Just thinking about it is getting me all excited.
I will keep you guys updated on the progress of my knee and when I will be starting my training for the next run.

If there is anything that you want me to blog about like eating plan, detox, area specific exercise, please let me know and I will gladly find the info for you.

Hitting the gym

YAY! ME-TIME! I am off to the gym now, will be cycling for 30mins and will focus on my abs and arms tonight.

Happy Easter to everyone, remember what it is actually about. Not about bunny's and Easter eggs, but about God loving us so much that He sent His only Son to die on the cross for our sins so that we don't have to pay for what we have done, as long as we repent and actually mean it. Do you realise that GOD's blood flows through Jesus' veins? Do you really understand what this means? Think about it and how extremely detailed God is.

Do not indulge too much this weekend, it really is not worth it. I read earlier today that it takes an 80kg Woman 80minutes of brisk walking to burn the calories consumed when eating a 70g Easter bunny. So no, it is not Worth it!

Have fun and enjoy the family time.

Fried Brain

I am finally done with my month end (at work) - or the tough part of it at least, and my brain is absolutely fried! Now I can spend more time on me again and also blog more regularly.

Well done to my awesome Sis, who is slowly but surely starting to reach her goal. The hard work is definetely starting to show and paying off. You are such an inspiration to me, when I feel down you always know just how to get me in the right frame of mind again.

Great glute, inner thigh and outer thigh workout below. Wish that I could join you guys with this already! Sick and tired of not being able to push myself and get into shape.

Enjoy

A new week, a new start

It has been a while since my last post, apologies for that! No excuses. I hope that you guys have been sticking to your goals, even without my help. To keep you updated, my knee is doing much better. Still a bit swollen, but we are getting there! I was- and kind of still am- disappointed in the fact that my knee got injured again. It is such a set-back, both mentally and physically. I don't have the confidence to go all out with my exercise and push myself to the limit. I do believe that my knee has been healed 100%, it is just the swelling that still has to go down. I am optimistic and know that I will have an even stronger knee when I am done. And that I will be unstoppable. For now I am doing the exercises that my Physio gives me to do, taking it one day at a time. Do not get me wrong, he pushes me with every session. My leg was shaking after today's session, but it feels good and that is what it will take to get my confidence back.

When I am not blogging, please visit bodyrock.com for awesome daily exercise routines. Challenge yourself.
